We are adding new courses all the time. We aim to have a variety of options for you to give you any experience you might want and also any new skill you might want to learn in the outdoor world.

Navigation training suitable for complete beginners that want to learn how to use a map and compass. Learn how to use a map and easy to identify features, map measurements and timings to plan and walk your own routes. On day two gain further confidence and learn how to use a compass to walk on compass bearings to cross more open countryside. This new skill can provide more freedom in the outdoors as you can navigate virtually any terrain alone and with others without worrying about where you are or where you are heading!
The scheme is for climbers who are in a position of responsibility when supervising climbing activities on indoor or outdoor climbing walls, artificial boulders and towers. This includes a wide range of structures utilised for these activities which will be referred to throughout these introductory notes as ‘walls’. It is primarily concerned with ensuring good practice, leading to the safe enjoyment of climbing activities, and to an understanding of the sport. It covers the supervision and management of activities such as bouldering, the teaching of basic movement skills and roped climbing, excluding the teaching of leading.

Our individual Coaching Sessions provide an hour of one on one instruction with our expert instructors who can help to hone your technique and boost your confidence. Coaching Sessions can be tailored to meet your climbing requirements.
The outdoor climbing course we have on offer is readily available for anyone wishing to learn the skill of outdoor climbing. We have fully qualified instructors that will teach you everything you need to know as well as the other little nuts and crannies of outdoor climbing. This course will be based in the Lake District and the specific location and details will be specified on the events page when we have the events ready. Upcoming events will appear at the bottom of the page with all relevant information. Outdoor climbing is extremely rewarding and satisfying, climbing atop natural structures and scaling large walls is no small feat, especially when most people in world are afraid of heights. It is generally a small number of people who can conquer this widespread fear, so get out there, get booked in and enjoy the fruits of your labour!
Are you looking at joining the military and want a head start? or just want to improve your skills in bush craft and general navigation military style?
This 1 day event will cover it all from navigation on various terrain, all round bush craft skills, field skills, military skills etc. Get these under your belt and you are equipped to go anywhere!!
Even though our singe day course will take place in relatively easily accessible country areas, the emphasis is very much on training Military, Navigational and Bushcraft skills that will back you up in wild, remote areas, no matter weather you intend to use the skills locally or further afield in more hostile, remote places, the skills we teach are relevant and tested in the real world.
Expedition Leader Course
Do you want to lead in the Mountians at some point in the future? Then get a head start!
This course will provide a head-start for those looking at pursuing the goal of becoming a leader.

This single day course will run you through the ins and outs of becoming a leader, industry kno
wledge, tips and tricks and all round essentials needed to do everything safely.
We will cover things such as Navigational Skills using map and compass, shelter, what to do if you get lost, group dynamics (how to control various groups of various abilities), communication and much more!!
